Fritz Hutapea serves as Of Counsel at the firm, focusing on debt collection and business disputes. He is known for his practical, results-driven approach and his ability to guide clients through contentious and high-stakes situations with clarity and strategic precision. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (S.H.) from Universitas Ibnu Chaldun (UIC), Jakarta, and has also completed the Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) at the University of Westminster in England.

Fritz’s practice is centered on representing clients in debt recovery matters, commercial disputes, and conflict resolution. He regularly advises both domestic and international clients on enforcing contractual rights, managing non-performing obligations, and navigating complex dispute scenarios. His experience includes handling negotiations, litigation strategies, and settlement structuring to achieve efficient and commercially viable outcomes.

He has extensive experience dealing with counterparties across various industries, often in situations involving financial distress, breach of contract, and unpaid debts. His approach emphasizes assertiveness balanced with strategic negotiation, allowing clients to maximize recovery while managing legal and reputational risks.

Fritz is valued for his sharp analytical thinking, firm negotiation stance, and commitment to delivering clear, commercially grounded legal solutions in challenging dispute environments, complete with the undisputed reputation.

Uus Mulyaharja serves as Of Counsel at the firm and is recognized for his strong academic foundation and professional experience. He holds a Doctor of Law (Dr.) degree from Universitas Padjadjaran.

He is an advocate with expertise in Intellectual Property Law, Capital Markets, and Direct Selling (Multi-Level Marketing). His practice encompasses both civil and criminal litigation, representing a broad range of domestic and international clients. In addition to litigation, he is actively involved in non-litigation matters, including corporate and capital market advisory work such as legal audits and legal opinions in connection with mergers and acquisitions, liquidations, initial public offerings (IPOs), and other capital market transactions.

Frensicitra Kuswinar is the Head of Legal at the firm and a Licensed Advocate. She holds a Master of Laws from Universitas Gadjah Mada, one of Indonesia’s oldest and most prestigious law schools. With over 15 years of experience in intellectual property law, including five years at leading IP firms prior to joining the firm in 2014, she brings extensive expertise in advising on complex IP matters.

She advises both domestic and international clients on a broad range of intellectual property matters, including trademark protection, portfolio management, enforcement strategies, domain name disputes, as well as copyright and patent disputes. Her practice spans multiple industries, reflecting extensive experience in brand protection, dispute resolution, and commercial IP advisory.

Frensicitra regularly represents clients before the Indonesian Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DGIP) and the Indonesian Commercial Court. Her work includes handling trademark oppositions and cancellations, enforcement actions (both online and offline), and coordinating cross-border strategies for global brands entering and operating in Indonesia. In addition to her contentious practice, she is actively involved in advising on prosecution strategies and managing complex IP portfolios, ensuring alignment with both local regulations and international standards.

When advising clients on how to conduct their activities in compliance with intellectual property laws, she adopts a practical, business-oriented approach. She strives to put herself in the client’s position, focusing on delivering workable and commercially viable solutions rather than purely theoretical legal advice.

In her free time, Frensicitra enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, cooking, playing tennis, and staying active through sports, as well as discovering new places around the world.

Reihan Faiz is a Senior Associate and a licensed advocate specializing in intellectual property law. She obtained her law degree from Universitas Padjadjaran, one of Indonesia’s leading universities.

She has nearly nine years of experience advising domestic and international clients on trademark protection, prosecution, enforcement, and portfolio management. In Indonesia, she regularly handles end-to-end trademark prosecution, including clearance searches, filing strategies, responding to office actions, and managing opposition before the Directorate General of Intellectual Property and cancellation action proceedings with the Indonesian Commercial Court. Her practice extends to cross-border matters, where she develops coordinated strategies to protect and commercially leverage intellectual property rights across multiple jurisdictions.

Reihan began her career at one of Indonesia’s largest intellectual property law firms, where she gained extensive experience representing multinational corporations and local businesses across a wide range of industries. Her portfolio includes representing clients before the Commercial Court in trademark cancellation actions across a broad range of industries, including food and beverage companies, a leading German sportswear brand, a major Chinese technology company, and Korean skincare businesses. She has consistently secured favorable outcomes in these matters, reflecting her strong litigation strategy and in-depth understanding of Indonesia’s trademark regime.

Outside of work, Reihan enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending quality time with friends and family, bringing the same focus and energy to her personal life as she does to her professional practice.

Yosef Sri Sasongko is a lawyer and advocate with extensive experience in the field of Intellectual Property law. Graduated from the Faculty of Law, Department of Civil Law, Airlangga University (class of 1983) and began career in the legal house in the financial company and non-financial company with his last position as legal manager and then he has practiced as an advocate since 1998 joining a law firm that handles various cases including criminal, labor, bankruptcy, civil, corruption cases among others in state-owned companies.

He has more than 19 years of professional experience at the Widjojo (Oei Tat Hway) Office, where he handles both litigatory and non-litigatory matters, particularly in the field of Intellectual Property. His work includes preparing legal documents such as responses, objections, appeals, and rebuttals for submission to the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DJKI), as well as representing clients in court proceedings, including lawsuits, cassation, and judicial review at the District Court and Supreme Court.

Outside of his professional work, he enjoys following legal and political developments, walking, cooking, photography, and traveling.

Michelle V. Karuniawan is an Associate at Widjojo (Oei Tat Hway). She graduated with a law degree from Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia and began her legal career as in-house counsel in the manufacturing sector, where she was involved in a broad range of matters, including Civil Law, Company Law, Labor Law, and Intellectual Property. This role provided her with a strong commercial perspective and a practical understanding of business operations, which later shaped her particular interest in intellectual property law.

In early 2025, Michelle joined the firm to pursue her career as an IP lawyer. She advises on a wide range of intellectual property matters, including legal research and due diligence, as well as advising clients on the registration, protection, and enforcement of IP rights in Indonesia. Her work includes preparing and prosecuting applications, conducting trademark clearance searches, and advising on availability and registrability. She also undertakes drafting of legal documents, correspondence, and filings. Michelle plays an active role in managing IP portfolios, monitoring deadlines, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. She also supports IP-related transactions and strategic initiatives, working closely with clients and foreign associates to facilitate smooth and efficient cross-border filings and multi-jurisdictional matters.

Beyond her practice, Michelle combines a love for active pursuits with intellectual curiosity. She enjoys tennis, basketball, music across all genres, documentaries, and the natural world, especially animals. She is also fascinated by languages and has been learning Spanish over the past year.
